Official Eileen George Prayer Groups below
We are happy to share with you a new endeavor of MtFM. Eileen George Prayer Groups will meet on a monthly basis to pray for specific intentions through Eileen’s intercession, to study and reflect on her teachings, and to pray for her beatification & canonization. Prayer groups are to be guided by a priest who must be in good standing of his diocese or Religious Order. We want to encourage all priests who knew Eileen to consider starting a group in your parish. Lay people are also encourage to try to organize and Eileen George Prayer Group. However, they must be under the direction and guidence of a priest.
If you are interested in starting an Eileen George Prayer Group, this is what you should do:
- Ask your parish priest for permission to meet in the parish.
- A priest must be the spiritual director. (He must obtain a letter of good standing from his diocese or Religious superior).
- A Catholic in good standing will serve as the coordinator.
- Choose a location for the monthly meeting.
- Fill out our registration form and mail it to MtFM. We will forward you a starter packet.
- Spread word in the parish and local community about the group and details.
- Be sure to subscribe to the Father’s Good Newsletter, and order copies of Eileen’s books to use as sources for the montly reflections.
When we receive your registration form with the proper documentation, we will send you a starter packet and promotional material.
